Welcome to our wedding planning site!
When Nick and I got engaged in April 2010, I don't think either of us really had any idea what it takes to plan a wedding. And while it was somewhat overwhelming at times in the beginning--planning a wedding on a limited budget from a thousand miles away!--thankfully we've had tons of support and help. And working together to make this wedding happen and seeing everything begin to come together has been a blast. We were finally able to meet our officiant over Christmas and see the place where we'll be getting married in June (yes, we put down a deposit on the ceremony site before seeing it in person!), and both are a perfect fit. So I'm super excited to be able to start focusing more on the actual ceremony and planning our vows.
But in the meantime I'm including some of those little details we've been working on all this time to make our wedding our own, both to help us visualize the overall picture and to share with anyone who might be interested.
